PISC Fishing Show on March 19, 2022

Download this flyer.

DJ Muller’s Plum Island seminar is “The Art of Presentation, The Skill of the Hunt.”  This talk is loaded with information on catching striped bass from the surf.  Understanding structure, understanding water movement, fishing with wind, where to find striped bass, what to throw to them and when. It will automatically make you a better surfcaster!!

DJ is the President of the Jersey Shore Surfcasters. He is an expert surfcaster specializing in striped bass and is a well-traveled angler with an experience-base rivaled by few. He has pulled stripers from the salty brine from Maine to OBX.  He hails from NJ but spends a majority of his time fishing Rhode Island, Block Island, Cuttyhunk, Martha’s Vineyard, the Cape Cod Canal, and other great bassholds along the east coast.

DJ is a noted author and has penned five books on surfcasting for stripers, his titles include: “The Surfcaster’s Guide to the Striper Coast,” “Striper Strategies,” “Striper Tales,” “Fishing the Cape Cod Canal,” and his latest release, “Surfcasting Block Island and Cuttyhunk.” He has also written hundreds of articles for The Fisherman Magazine, On the Water, Surfcaster’s Journal, Saltwater Sportsman, and more.

Muller also is a surfcasting guide and a great teacher. He works with entry level to intermediate casters, sharing his knowledge and experience. He runs guide trips to great bass destinations throughout the northeast. He also teaches “Bass Class” a comprehensive, 8-hour session that covers everything striped bass and surfcasting.

DJ Muller can be reached at djmull1313@gmail.com and always welcomes  questions or comments.
